Moments of happiness

(Warning: This is a soppy post!)

Nearly two hours of Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal humping made me realise something this evening.

"Just how happy I am in this moment with you... And it doesn’t matter if I have ten thousand more moments like this, or just this one because it’s all the same. Right now, this moment. I have this"

I know real life isn't like the movies, although it seems like it sometimes, but this quote struck a chord with me. Despite the woes and troubles that life has thrown at me I've also had many moments where I have felt exactly that. Moments that I have paused and captured in my mind of pure and true love, of contentment, of just unmeasurable, amazing... happiness.

There are people in the world that will never know or never experience that happiness and there are people who may only experience it once or twice. So I am grateful that not only have I felt it, but I have had many moments like that. And I will treasure them always and know that whatever the future holds I have had such happiness and that that in itself is something to be grateful for.

...Whether I have ten thousand more moments like that or just those ones.

Happy happy, joy joy

(Anyone else remember Ren and Stimpy?)

So despite the hell I've been through recently, and despite the fact that technically my life is a little erm... well, shall we say "untidy" at the moment, I am feeling really happy this evening!

Work is going amazingly at the moment. My freelance business is really getting going now. I'm thriving at college. I have literally THE most amazing friends that a girl could wish for (and I know the rule with friends is quality over quantity but I am lucky enough to have lots of amazing friends!). I'm getting more attention from men then is wanted but with that the reassurance that I've still got it. And I have two gorgeous little boys who make me so so proud of them everyday.

All I need to do is find the right house and ...well like I said in my first post, they'll be no stopping me!
